Cutting the Psychic Ties
I’m re entering this blog for easier availability for my clients.
Blog 27.07.2010 Cutting the psychic ties.
Over the years many clients have come to me because of a relationship breakup. Coming out of a relationship one needs to cut the psychic ties with the now ex. There is a grieving process to go through when a relationship ends, especially a long term one. It is not only the grief felt for the loss of the loved one it is also the grief for the loss of the future that you dreamed of having together.
First and foremost nurture yourself. Don’t be upset with yourself for not being able to let go like you know you should, or to move forward or get out there like everyone tells you to. Take time to heal, get some Reiki or spiritual healing and cleanse and balance your chakras. (I’ve talked about chakras in previous blogs). Forgive the person who has caused you hurt and accept that it is over.
Heartache is very real and your heart does actually hurt. You do get over heartache but to help things along a little a meditation to help cut the psychic ties is a good way to help your heart heal. When you have been very close with someone your emotional bodies sort of blend together and even though you have broken up these emotional bodies can be still connected. Sometimes the other person, even though they have instigated the breakup, can want to stay connected to you at some level. They usually have their own emotional problems and still want to “use” your feelings of love to make themselves feel good. They are usually not even aware that they are doing this but if someone keeps wanting to ‘touch base’ to see how you are doing they usually want to be reassured that they are still loveable. The weakened tie is made strong again by a single phone call or text. It’s not fair because that opens the wounds again and you have to start getting over them again. If it’s over, it’s over and it really is best for no more contact so you can heal. It is more difficult, of course, when there are children involved but no matter what don’t turn into their counsellor.
Your intention to heal and move on can be helped with this simple meditation. If you have trouble with meditation then simply sit quietly and imagine the following. Close your eyes and breath deeply for a while.
Enter an imaginary hall or room, whatever makes you feel comfortable and in charge. Ask your angels to be with you and help you. Remember your imagination is the tool with which your spirit family can pop in thoughts and ideas to help you.
See the person with whom you have split and have a psychic conversation with them. Tell them all the things that you haven’t been able to for what ever reason and inform them that you are cutting the psychic ties with them. In your mind’s eye see what is connecting you. Some people see a tube or rope and some see things like a mist. They can be connected to any part of you and some people see many ties. Whatever they look like or how many there are you need to cut them. So now you can use a sword (ask Archangel Michael to use his sword) or a chainsaw, whatever it takes to cut the tie/s. I have had some people use laser beams and someone actually visualised acid! I thought that was a bit much but hey, you sometimes need to use something really strong to emphasise how strong your emotions are.
When you have cut all ties and feel a disconnection then seal any holes in your aura by filling them with light. Feel bright white light and universal love beaming on you both and say: Goodbye..(name)...... I cut the psychic ties with you and send you on your way in peace... Then turn around and without looking back walk out of the door and into the sunshine. When I walk people through this meditation many of them cry at this point of the release. It is very emotional but it really helps. Do this exercise every night for at least 2 weeks and usually at the end of this time when you go into the hall and see the ties they should be like ribbons and can be cut with scissors. This intention to move on really does help to heal the hurt.
Good luck and remember you are a perfect and divine child of the universe and as the saying goes, when one door shuts the universe opens another, more suitable, door for you.
Blessings to you and always be kind to yourself and others,
Colette

The Great Invocation
The Great Invocation
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of men
Let Light descend on Earth
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men
May Christ return to Earth
From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men
The purpose which the masters know and serve.
From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power
Restore the Plan on Earth
A prayer for all faiths and cultures

Boredom
Blog 10.2.2011 - Boredom
Sometimes when we feel that things aren’t moving along quickly enough or when we feel ‘stuck’ we are actually just plain bored. Our ‘story’ becomes boring even to ourselves.
Life can sometimes seem almost unbearable and the pressures and difficulties surrounding us just won’t go. Sometimes we hang on to difficult situations just because if that (the situation) goes, our life might become boring again and we would have nothing to complain about. (I don’t pull any punches as you can no doubt tell!). So stop, relax and breathe and stare and be.
Life is mysterious and wonderful and something can happen (and usually does) out of the blue, something that acts as a catalyst for change. We just need to notice it.
We are all used to the high drama played out on TV and movies that we somehow expect every day to be dramatic and over the top. We think our life is stuck if something major isn’t happening in it right now. There is immense power in the smallest of things, a gesture here, a hug there, the perfect book at the perfect time, one of those ah ha moments.
All of these small but significant events can trigger a new direction or turning point in our lives. These small gifts from our guides and the universe may come from a completely unexpected source and bring relief to the situation. Trust that the universe will provide us with what we really need when we need it, and it may just be a smile from a stranger. Don’t get hooked on the biggest, look for the quality in life.
If you don't like your life right now, then change it, one small do-able step at a time. Don't look to others, do it yourself. Maybe you just haven't noticed the small things that are happening around you that would help.
Blessings, Colette

31.1.2011 Mindfulness
Blog 31.1.2011 Mindfulness
Mindfulness is about being in the now, connecting with our inner self and appreciating every single second of life. Buddha was the one who started teaching mindfulness.
Mindfulness is not something you do necessarily but rather a way of being. Once you decide you want to try this practise just start by observing everything that you do in detail. For instance, when you brush your teeth be aware of your teeth and your mouth, how the brush feels, etc. Start paying attention to your thoughts. What are you thinking, is it about cleaning your teeth? How often do we go for a walk and notice nothing of what is around us. Our mind is so busy having a conversation with itself that we are not aware of our very selves.
The best way for you to start is to sit quietly and bring your attention to your breathing. We breathe automatically; therefore, we tend to ignore this vital function. Observe the in and the out breath. Try not to alter the rhythm, just have a ‘look’ at what is going on when you breathe. Now become aware of your thoughts. Look at them without judgment; they will probably be of little importance. Become aware of your emotions (different from your thoughts) and see that they are just waves of energy. Energy which is constantly fluctuating in intensity and changing, continue to observe them. When we observe our thoughts they tend not to worry us as much, it’s almost as if they don’t like being looked at and give up their intensity. Now consciously go back to observing your breath so that your attention, and so your thoughts, are fully taken up in the observing of yourself breathing.
As you become more aware of yourself you will be able to ‘tune in’ easier. You many notice the thought patterns of predictable behaviour in yourself. Your awareness expands and deepens and so too your ability to see and acknowledge the reality of each precious moment of life. You appreciate things more.
Mindfulness is a very relaxing, meditative experience. It can be done anywhere, because as the saying goes, wherever you go, there you are.
Blessings, Colette

Blog 15.1.2011 Weather
Blog 15.1.2011 Channelled Message
“The earth is a delicate organism capable of great healing and regeneration. If it has time to recover, it will. So many small but significant events are unfolding as Mother Earth starts to respond. It is cause and effect, the same for her as it is for you. Treat something with disrespect and you will get that come back to you. Mother Earth is not judging you with all these cataclysmic floods and terrible weather, she is responding.
Trying to ‘avoid’ weather is going to be mankind’s new challenge. Finding a balance will be the greatest gift for the generations to come. To see the world as if a painting, every little molecule of dark paint can and will be replaced with a tiny piece of light and love. Eventually with persistence the balance will be found.
Blessings to you”

Blog Jan 2011 Channelled Messages
Blog Jan 2011 – Channelled messages to me:
I am going to use this blog to publish my channelled messages from my guides and the world of spirit. I hope that you the reader find them interesting.
“Connect to healing through your heart and thoughts, surrender to the divine’s desire to help. You are not alone yet your struggles all point to an endless cycle of fear and control. You all try to control a universe which is so powerful as if to render you efforts as effective as an ants, and still you try.
The key is co-operation, work hard but for the world of spirit, with us, as we know what is best, we see the big picture. Do what you think is right in your daily affairs and take heed the guidance that comes to you both day and night.
What is healing if it is not permanent? A slight shift in perception is more beneficial than a thousand rays of energy and light; both, together, can be a miracle.
So within your limits of awareness and understanding lies the true meaning of life. It is simply the co-operation with the spirit, the universe, and thus to benefit from the great gifts the earth plane has to offer. Heed us.
Blessings to you child.”
