More on Healing

Blog 17th Sept 2010 - More on Healing

As a healer I know beyond any doubt that illness within the body starts from an emotional imbalance or dysfunction. When I send healing energy and light into the body, I am usually made aware of the emotional aspects behind the problem. Some energy disturbances go back to early childhood (or beyond as in past lives) and it could take 40 odd years to manifest as an illness. So it is a very important part of the healing process to be aware of any emotional hang-ups. During a healing session I will quite often take a person through a meditation to the time where an emotional problem surfaced.

I must stress that by the time that these imbalances manifest as illness it is time to address the actual physical condition. In a perfect world were we are all brought up as children to understand how our emotional body works we would have a better chance of not allowing a physical illness in the first place. However, all of us experience something at sometime, even if it’s just a cold!

I believe in cooperation with the medical profession. We have to be sensible, it’s extremely difficult to make things disappear just because we now understand the mental concept. The day will come where tumours will be removed by psychic means (see Stephen Turoff at Danbury Clinic in England) but until then I feel that mostly we have to remove the cancerous growth (surgery) first, then we can heal fully with complementary healing and medicines. Many women who go through breast cancer will not have it return if they look at their emotions and do the ‘work’ on themselves. Brandon Bays has a good book on this. According to Alice Bailey’s book on Esoteric Healing is says on cancer: “ In all disease of malignant nature, there is a vital core or a living spot of energy which is absorbing, slowly or quickly, as the case may be, the life force in the man/woman. In the early stages of such a disease as cancer, the vital core is not found until the malignant condition is established so potently that it is exceedingly difficult to do anything helpful. (This book was channelled a long time ago and we have come along way, medically, since then). Yet the cure can be effected, but again only if the will of the patient is involved. Little can be done in cancer cases unless there is the intelligent cooperation of the one to be healed, for the only method is to blend the directed will of the patient and of the healer (all kinds) together into one functioning unit of force. When this has been done, then the involved and concentrated energy will follow thought, under the ancient law, and so stimulate the area surrounding the cancer (that is the healthy tissue) that the absorption of the weakened, diseased tissue by the stronger tissue can take place.” I feel it is quicker to remove the growth first and then send healing to the area and look at the emotions at the same time. “This condition of freedom from emotion is so seldom to be found – that – at this stage of the world’s history it may be said that it does not exist.”
We are only now beginning to accept and understand the emotional aspects to healing. With so much of the medicines of today getting stronger and stronger, it’s like hitting a gnat with a giant hammer, the whole body gets squished. I pray for the day when they ‘discover’ energy, light and colour as healing methods and focus on proving these things with science instead of coming up with yet another pill.

Here are a few emotions connected to physical ailments. Louise Hay has a good book on this. I’m just touching on these ailments but it gives you an idea where to start thinking about what you might be hanging on to. Contemplate on it. A lot of these are obvious for example if there is trouble with the ears, you are not being heard and or you are blocking out the words you don’t wish to hear. Don’t laugh but a lot of elderly men are deaf because they can’t stand listening to their wife talking or nagging anymore! And eyes could be simply be not seeing the obvious (such as not taking that chance with a new opportunity to move into a more fulfilling career which will bring contentment).

Anxiety – not trusting the universe, feel it’s all up to you and there’s no help
Arthritis is to do with not trusting the flow of life and bitterness. Let things go!
Asthma is to do with insecurity (can be past life stuff in the case of children)
Adrenal problems is stress, loving yourself, can stem from fear held in the kidneys
Back (big problem) Lower back is fear of money, the lack of the source, do you secretly blame your husband for not providing enough? Does your back hurt when your job feels threatened? Not feeling supported in all sorts of ways can show up in the back.
Middle back problems is about guilt (that get off my back feeling) (this is the partner’s take (for instance) on trying to do their best but it’s never good enough) Pushing yourself to the point of injury.
Upper back is feeling the lack of emotional support, feeling unloved, suppressing love. Carrying the world on your shoulders is a deep lack of joy, worn down by a ‘hard life’.
Bronchial – lungs is pretty much always to do with grief of one sort of another. Many people have a cough or lung problems for years after a loved one passes. Also, why does one smoke? Think about the reason for starting.
Bowel problems is all about holding on to anger and frustration. Let it go.
Cancer – deep hurt, longstanding resentment, deep grief eating away at the body: Forgive.
Chest – Heartache – to love and be loved, sounds obvious but people who have heart attacks are usually not very happy people to begin with. This sadness sits in the chest and affects the will to live.
Fatigue - this is generally boredom; (can be adrenal) which is about loving yourself.
Headaches - this is self criticism, trying too hard to be perfect, love yourself warts and all!
Heartburn is a LOT of fear. (usually with control issues)
Joints: – is about change in direction; the hips being a major life transition.
Knee problems are about not bending to the universal will, pride and ego. Being stuck.
Menstrual problems – rejecting femininity, a lot of clients with an issue here have
‘mother issues’ from childhood. Can also be sexual abuse of course.
Neck – stubborn people who have problems with flexibility get neck stuff. Typical Taurus!
Overweight issues are usually low self esteem coupled with control issues. Fear and the need for protection can also be involved. Why does one overeat? Really, the deep reason.
Shoulders – we can feel weighed down or burdened by our joyless attitude.
Sore throats – why do we let our immune system give in, it’s because we are holding words in our throats, not speaking what we have to say. Suppressed words turned into emotions. Have you ever noticed that when we are happy and fulfilled we are get fewer colds and flu?

That’s a few to start with. I am hoping to get some channelled messages regarding healing soon and when I do I will put them on this blog.
God Bless, Colette
